Bullying occurs in every school and is ubiquitous in today’s society. Many children that do not know how to handle bullying end up emotionally hurt, or in extreme cases, commit suicide. This lesson will cover the various different types of bullying and how they should be handled. Within this lesson is a segment on violence and aggressive behavior which is also prevalent among people of all ages in today’s world.
Bringing awareness to these issues is a very important matter that every teacher should be equipped to handle. Bullying and violence is not going away so it is imperative that we educate children on the subject in a manner that will make a lasting impression and help avert any more violent tragedies that plague our youth.
